Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Marketing Executive role located in Nilai. This position will lead our marketing activities for Sweetsbox and support Mybakingmart. In this role, you will bring innovative ideas and strategies to our team, driving growth and brand visibility. Your primary responsibilities will include planning, designing, and costing annual marketing strategies with a focus on retail and e-commerce. Additionally, you will develop and implement strategies to expand our business into new B2B segments, ensuring we stay ahead in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for both Sweetsbox and Mybakingmart, supporting short- and long-term goals across retail and e-commerce platforms.
  2. Plan and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring all initiatives are cost-effective and optimized for high ROI.
  3. Conduct detailed market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and new growth opportunities.
  4. Design, launch, and manage marketing campaigns across digital platforms, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising to drive sales and brand awareness.
  5. Lead the creative direction and design for all promotional activities, ensuring visually compelling and brand-consistent materials across all channels.
  6. Create and manage engaging content for the website, social media, product packaging, and marketing materials to support ongoing campaigns and product launches.
  7. Develop strategies to expand B2B market presence, including lead generation, corporate partnerships, and segment-specific campaigns.
  8. Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve future results.
  9. Collaborate cross-functionally with the sales, product development, and customer service teams to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
  10. Coordinate and manage promotional events, trade shows, and brand activations, enhancing customer engagement and reinforcing brand presence in the market.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (fresh graduates welcome).
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, such as social media advertising (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) and email marketing.
  • Able to create simple and attractive designs using Canva or similar tools.
  • Experience or willingness to learn e-commerce platforms like SiteGiant, Shopee, or Lazada.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Creative mindset with eagerness to learn and solve problems.
  • Exposure to social media management or content creation through internships, projects, or personal experience.
  • Basic knowledge of data tracking and market research techniques is a plus.
