Job description

Opportunity Identification: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the injection molding and contract manufacturing sectors to expand our client base.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the manufacturing industry to inform business development strategies.
Proposal Development: Prepare and present detailed quotation, business proposals or presentations to prospective clients.

Inquiry Responsiveness: Respond and assist with general inquiries from clients and propose for effective solutions.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business targets and increase market share.
Collaboration: Work closely with the project team, production, and other departments to align business development efforts with company goals and customer requirements.
Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, agreements and quotations with clients to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Performance Analysis: Track and analyze business development activities using key metrics and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Event Participation: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on business development activities and performance to management.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a business development role, preferably within the manufacturing industry. (Fresh Graduates are welcome)
Technical Skills: Proficiency in excel, power point and cost analysis. Experience in video editing (adobe premier etc.) is an added advantage.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create engaging presentations and proposals.
Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret market data, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications: Certification in Business Development, Sales, or related fields.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with injection molding and contract manufacturing processes and market dynamics.
