Department: Sales & Marketing Distribution (Southern Region)
We are seeking a talented Sales & Marketing Executive to join our dynamic team, based in Johor Bahru. This full-time role will be responsible for driving new business development and expanding our customer base.
Job Responsibilities :
- Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via visitation, telephone, and emails.
- Influencing dealers to buy or retain products or services by following a promotional activities plan to give product reference information.
- Conducting sales presentations through product demos, sharing, and sampling.
- Ensuring the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations.
- Using initiative to identify and follow up on opportunities with companies not already in the database.
- Contributing to and developing marketing plans and strategies.
- Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
- Managing the database with high accuracy to enable targeted marketing activities for new business generation.
- Checking quantities of goods on display and in stock.
- Reviewing personal sales performance to meet or exceed targets.
- Making cold calls to arrange meetings with potential customers for new business prospects.
- Identifying product improvements or new products by staying current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Advising on upcoming product developments and discussing promotional offers.
- Producing daily and weekly activity reports.
- Maintaining quality service by following organizational standards.
- Maintaining technical knowledge through monthly nutrition sharing and reviewing publications.
- Participating in exhibitions or conferences on behalf of the company.
Required Education and Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Nutrition, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year sales experience or experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCGs).
- Languages: English, Chinese, Bahasa Malayu (proficiency in Mandarin preferred for communication with Mandarin-speaking clients).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trusting relationships with dealers.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven approach.
