Sales Manager SPM Role Overview

Role Overview: To provide supporting leadership for the Senior BUM by actively mentoring and coaching sales team members to achieve profitable sales growth. Additionally, to develop KOL and lead surgeon relationships within the assigned territory.

What will you be doing?
  • Manage the assigned territory and support team members.
  • Participate in sales budgeting and create detailed sales plans to meet revenue goals.
  • Increase engagement with lead surgeons in the territory.
  • Provide technical and sales training to new and junior sales staff.
  • Contribute to territory planning and restructuring.
  • Assist marketing with product launches and positioning strategies.
  • Provide feedback on sales processes and business activities.
  • Coach, guide, and evaluate the performance of direct reports.
  • Implement sales force effectiveness tasks such as call planning and customer classification.
  • Understand business direction and set clear goals for achievement.
  • Build relationships with strategic accounts and HCPs.
  • Identify and develop new accounts aligned with company goals.
  • Develop account and HCP strategies, maintaining strong key opinion leader relationships.
  • Maintain knowledge of territory market, products, competitors, and differentiators.
  • Report on market prospects, competitor activities, and sales performance.
  • Enhance team knowledge and skills through ongoing coaching and training.
  • Ensure marketing activities are executed and followed up within the market.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning of the business.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual business reports and budgets.
  • Collaborate with management to improve business processes.
