SALES MANAGER/ SENIOR SALES ENGINEER

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand market presence and grow customer base within the scaffolding sector.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and client engagement.

Plan and execute regular sales visits to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.

Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, quotations, and technical solutions that align with customer requirements and company objectives.

Collaborate with the Design & Engineering team to deliver impactful technical presentations and ensure feasibility of proposed solutions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a key liaison to ensure timely responses and resolution of any issues.

Manage all documentation and presentation materials for project tenders, including cost estimates and technical submissions.

Contribute to the development of innovative business development strategies to strengthen market position.

Track and follow up on customer payments to ensure timely collections.

Support other sales, marketing, and business development initiatives as assigned by management.

Requirements

Possess at least a Diploma in Construction Management/Building/Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveying or related field.

At least 3-5 years of experience in sales, specifically in construction materials products, especially scaffolding products are preferred.

Strong sales acumen, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals.

Excellent negotiation skills to handle pricing, contracts, and terms with clients.

Proactive, self-driven, and team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.

Possess own vehicle and willing to travel to client meetings, site visits and trade shows.

Proficient in major languages (English, Malay and Mandarin) with effective speaking and writing skills to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
