We are partnering with a MNC that specializes in manufacturing of components for the semiconductor industry. The company is expanding their Malaysia operations and looking for a Sales Manager as part of their strategic growth.
Responsibility:
- Develop and implement commercial strategies that align with business goals, including penetrating new markets and customer segments.
- Work cross-functionally with technical, operations, and product teams to ensure alignment of sales activities with customer needs and technical capabilities.
- Monitor industry trends, customer technology roadmaps, and competitive activities to identify emerging opportunities.
- Cultivate and grow relationships with both existing and prospective customers through solution-based selling and value creation.
- Analyze business performance and market data to provide insights for sales planning, forecasting, and reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
- Contribute to budgeting processes and support internal operational activities to sustain long-term business health.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in technical sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the semiconductor or high-precision manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and managing key accounts in international and regional markets.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across cultures and technical backgrounds.
