A leading company in the printing industry is seeking a Sales Manager located in Penang, Malaysia. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of the sales cycle and experience in the printing or graphic arts sector. The role requires excellent analytical skills, the ability to use sales management tools, and proficiency in English and Chinese, along with strong interpersonal abilities to foster customer relationships.
Designation: Sales Manager (Lifecycle Sales: Consumables, Service and Parts)
Location: Penang, Malaysia
Desired Profile:
• Candidates with an academic background in Science, Engineering, or Printing Technology are preferred.
• Should possess approximately 3 to 4 years of experience in selling consumables, Service and Parts within the Printing or Graphic Arts industry.
• Experience in using sales analytics tools such as CRM, Salesforce, or equivalent platforms, along with proficiency in MS Office, is required.
• Must be open to travel and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
• Preference will be given to candidates currently local Penang and residing in Penang with English, Chinese reading and writing capability.
• Age below 40 years old
Job Summary
• The candidate should have a strong understanding of the complete sales cycle, achieving sales targets, providing monthly sales forecast and customer support.
• Promote actively Consumables, Service and Parts and building customer relationships.
• Leading the day-to-day management of the sales cycle using Salesforce or similar Sales management tool and use sales analytics from Salesforce tools for planning, leading and closing the business deals
• Gathering, analysing and interpreting data to understand customer preferences, market trends, market shares and competitive strategies
• Facilitating the growth of overall sales by providing the customer a comprehensive solutions approach.
• Gathering, analysizing and reporting on customer feedback to improve products, services and customer experience
• Overall responsible for customer account management.
• Take ownership for timely collection of the products sold as per the credit guidelines and update finance and sales coordinator.
• Partner with the service team and share timely necessary information to support the customers for their end to end requirements.
• Collaborate with fellow Sales account manager (Equipment) to sell complete solution to the customer.
