Company Background

We are looking for a market-facing, client-facing Sales Manager with strong industry exposure in the Industrial Equipment / Heavy Machinery / Palm Oil Machinerysectors for our client, to be based in Muar, Johor.

Job Requirements

• Conduct regular site visits to palm oil mills and industrial facilities to understand their operations and machinery requirements
• Build long-term relationships with mill managers, engineers, supervisors, and procurement teams.
• Act as the trusted point of contact, representing the company's solutions and services professionally on-site.
• Gather real-time insights on market trends, mill priorities, machinery needs, and urgent challenges.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities by understanding client requirements and introducing appropriate solutions.
• Facilitate discussions between clients and internal teams to ensure smooth proposal and quotation processes.
• Assist in negotiating terms and opening doors for contracts or projects.

Requirements & Details

• Minimum8–10 years experience in Palm Oil Machinery, Industrial Equipment, Heavy Machinery, or related sectors
• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field
• Strong network and understanding of the Malaysia or Indonesia mill environment
• Proficient in English, Malay and Chinese (Mandarin)
• Company car provided
