A leading logistics company seeks a Sales Executive to identify new sales opportunities and manage client relationships. The role requires extensive experience in the logistics and freight forwarding sector, with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service. Identify, develop, and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, client visits and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and grow the client base across various industry sectors.
Promote and sell logistics services, including air freight, sea freight, freight forwarding, warehousing, customs clearance, and transportation.
Manage and nurture long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
Work closely with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions.
Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed on competitor activity and industry trends.
Lead negotiations, prepare quotations, and close deals effectively.
Ensured customer payment is on time
Prepare and deliver professional presentations, proposals, and quotations tailored to customer needs.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Achieve individual and team sales targets.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
Generate sales reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
Mentor and support junior sales staff (if applicable).
Bachelor’s or Diploma in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
Minimum 5–7 years of proven sales experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
In-depth knowledge of international freight (air, sea, and land) and supply chain solutions.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service
Strong understanding of freight forwarding and logistics operations
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Possess own transport and willing to travel as needed within the region to meet clients
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
