A recruitment agency seeks an Assistant Sales Manager to expand business opportunities in the territory. The role requires a degree in a relevant field, at least 3 years of sales experience, and excellent interpersonal skills. This position is essential for fostering customer relationships and driving growth through effective marketing strategies.
Identify, explore, analyse, and maximise business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Develop and implement effective strategies to promote new products.
Monitor market trends and evolving customer needs, and propose relevant marketing strategies accordingly.
Drive business growth by offering tailored solutions, including sales training and technical support for customers.
Foster strong relationships with customers through regular visits, business reviews, and continuous improvement plans.
Manage and respond to new inquiries, prepare quotations, and ensure timely follow-up to close opportunities.
Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Represent the company at trade fairs, networking events, and marketing activities within the assigned territory, ensuring successful execution.
Participate in both internal and external training programs, including demo kitchen initiatives.
Develop comprehensive project plans and closely monitor progress to ensure timely execution.
Collaborate with distributors to identify suitable products for various customer segments.
Conduct quarterly and annual business reviews with distributors, and develop contingency plans to enhance sales performance.
Review distributor inventory reports regularly to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
Pleasant demeanour with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Minimum 3 years of sales working experience.
Strong passion for customer service and commitment to product quality.
Willingness to travel across Malaysia and the Asia Pacific region.
