A leading player in the electric vehicle industry is seeking a driven Sales Manager to oversee operations and dealer networks in Malaysia. This role involves developing sales strategies, building a nationwide dealer network, and collaborating with the marketing team. Applicants must have at least 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the automotive or EV market, along with strong communication and negotiation skills.
We are a fast-growing and innovative player in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, focused on delivering high-performance electric motorbikes for the Malaysian market. Baked by strong industry experience and a commitment to sustainable mobility, we are expanding rapidly and looking for a driven and passionate Sales Manager to lead our sales operations and dealer network across Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
Identify new business opportunities including dealerships and corporate clients
Build and manage a nationwide network of dealers and distributors
Monitor dealer performance and implement improvement strategies
Strengthen relationships with customers, dealers and key stakeholders
Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and brand promotions
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibition and industry event
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of sales management experience in the automotive, EV or motorbike sector
Proven ability to lead dealer networks and exceed sales targets
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
Analytical and able to adapt strategies based on market trends
Familiar with CRM tools and performance tracking systems
Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (additional language is an advantage)
Willing to travel frequently within Malaysia
