Job description

To manage a portfolio of accounts in the Corporate segments.

To ensure all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded for the hotel.

To maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel to previous, current, and potential clients.

To develop and participate in sales and business strategies to drive business growth relevant to the hotel’s objectives.

To identify major prospects and formulate action plans and sales strategies with the objective of servicing and converting potentials into business clients.

To handle guest complaints as required and take necessary actions to rectify issues and carry out service recovery.

To work closely with relevant departments to follow up on guest needs and ensure excellent service is provided.

To ensure that the set sales targets are met.

Requirements
  • Diploma or recognized professional qualification in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or Management.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in a sales role within a 3- or 4-star hotel, preferably as a Senior Sales Executive or Assistant Sales Manager.
  • Experience in sales for Corporate, Catering, or MICE segments.
  • Established business network and accounts in Corporate, Catering, or MICE segments.
  • Technical competence in sales and/or marketing, with excellent business acumen, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, with good presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work independently.
  • Pleasant, mature personality, strong problem-solving skills, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Analytical, prompt in action, and able to handle workplace stress.
