1. Explore potential customers and maintain good relationship with existing customers.
2. Develop and establish sales strategies to expand market share.
3. Planning of sales visit to customer to address customer’s needs.
4. Preparation of sales proposal, quotations and attending customer’s enquiries.
5. Conduct engaging technical presentations to illustrate product features and benefits to existing and prospective customers.
6. Preparation of document / presentation materials for tender project.
7. Liaising with internal & external stakeholder on project progression including performance bond preparation, delivery lead time, installation date etc.
8. Follow up payment status with client.
9. Any other ad hoc duties assigned.
Requirements:
1. Possess at least Diploma/ Degree in Construction Management/Building/CivilEngineering/Quantity Surveying or related field.
2. At least 5 years of experience in sales, specifically in construction materials products, especially aluminum products are preferred.
3. Proven experience managing key accounts, particularly with B2B customers such as manufacturers, contractors, or distributors.
4. Understanding of products, including aluminum alloy formwork, disctype scaffolding, and their specific applications.
5. Strong sales acumen, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals.
6. Excellent negotiation skills to handle pricing, contracts, and terms with clients.
7. Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with clients and presenting technical information.
9. Self-motivated and ability to work in a team or independently with minimum supervision.
10. Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and site visits.
11. Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia can be used as working language.
