Job description

1. First and foremost, to direct the sales, marketing, and service of the company's Nexus Analytics business in Malaysia.

2. Prepare and implement plans for developing this business with the sales and support teams, including:

3. Work together with your management, with the principal's representatives, and with other departments within the company to achieve our goals and targets in a sustainable manner.

4. To supervise, motivate, mentor, and teach, appraise, and monitor those individuals reporting to you. Assess their needs, strengths and weaknesses, talents and aspirations and help personally or by recommending various courses or means to help them achieve personal and professional development, as best you can.

5. As you are part of a team, you are responsible to:

  1. Keep others informed of your scheduling, traveling and whereabouts.
  2. Inform other members of the company and your team of opportunities, problems, or important market information.
  3. Resolve difficult and sensitive customer issues.

6. As you are part of the management team, you will assist the management to:

  1. Develop corporate goals and long-term plans.
  2. Develop and improve internal policies and procedures.
  3. To always attempt to keep your management included and engaged in your operations, and to assure that your management is informed of opportunities, problems, or important market information.

7. To liaise with our principals in an efficient and professional manner.

8. To maintain a high level of professionalism and patience in all your dealings with our customers, and to represent the company in a faithful manner, always presenting the company in the best possible light to our customers.

9. To maintain a positive work relationship with other employees within the company.

WE WANT SOMEONE WHO:

  • A higher diploma / degree in either Physics or Chemistry or related discipline.
  • 5 years minimum experience in a leadership / senior sales management role.
  • Experience in Spectroscopy and Thermal analysis a strong plus point.
