Job description

Responsible for achieving organizational sales goals. Develops sales strategies, manages sales budgets, analyzes market trends & customer sales data, increases in-store share, and sales revenues. A Sales Manager also works closely with other departments, such as marketing, product teams, and customer service, to ensure the sales processes are aligned and efficient. Additionally, they collaborate with customer shop front staff, update promotional activities, product information, and oversee merchandising corners and POSM.

All about the role:

  • Assists management in devising sales plans and strategies, develops forecasts, budgets, and operating plans for product sales channels to ensure sales targets are met.

  • Builds excellent business relationships with key account customers and develops smart partnerships to attain sales targets.

  • Conducts monthly reviews with customers to report on performance versus KPIs, execution of key events, and product initiatives, highlighting issues and opportunities.

  • Handles and responds to existing product queries from clients effectively, accurately, and analytically using customer data.

  • Builds and maintains effective customer relationships to foster loyalty and long-term partnerships.

  • Provides market feedback to the Key Account Manager regarding goods movement and competitor activity.

  • Works with the Key Account Manager on developing appropriate sales strategies.

  • Maintains merchandising plans and oversees new merchandising projects at strategic locations.

What you’ll do:

  • Achieve Sales Targets:

- Achieve annual sales targets and goals through activities and support.

- Implement marketing promotions to ensure high impact at shop fronts to achieve goals.

  • Monitor monthly and review quarterly with key account customers.

- Compare actual performance against targets, review strategies to stay competitive.

- Conduct internal monthly reviews with the team and quarterly reviews with dealers to update sales plans.

- Submit a 2-month firm plan and a 2-month rolling plan to the Key Account Manager monthly.

  • Management of Promotional Plans:

- Plan annual activities for key account partners (monthly promotions, seasonal promotions, in-store demos, joint promotions).

- Collaborate with Marketing & Product teams to secure necessary resources.

- Evaluate and refine ongoing plans for better results.

- Ensure POSM and shop front merchandising are executed according to company guidelines.

  • Manage dealer trade account receivables to ensure zero outstanding at all times.

  • Prepare monthly rolling sales forecasts for the Demand & Supply Chain team.

  • Develop yearly trading terms and annual activity plans for each account.

  • Hold regular meetings with key accounts to identify opportunities and formulate action plans.

  • Implement product assortment plans for each key account to maximize sales and profitability.

Who you are:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Consumer Goods Marketing or Sales, preferably in a related industry.

  • College graduate in Marketing, Business, or related fields.

  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Good managerial and communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Highly adaptable, able to work efficiently under pressure with minimal supervision.

  • Willing to travel.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
