About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our growing team in Melaka. As a full-time Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales strategies and achieving revenue targets for our portfolio of hotels and resorts in the region.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement effective sales plans to promote our hotel and resort offerings to key accounts and prospective clients

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the local and regional markets

Manage and mentor a team of sales executives, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their individual and team targets

Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, and other key stakeholders

Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and pricing

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted promotional campaigns

Prepare comprehensive sales reports and presentations for management

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in the hospitality or tourism industry

Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth

Strong understanding of the local and regional hospitality market, including industry trends and competitor analysis

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and close deals

Proficient in data analysis and using sales reporting tools

Ability to lead and motivate a team of sales professionals

Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
