Environmental Conditions

Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safety Standards. Conditions include: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair, etc., allowed in Cleanroom environments. Also includes Laboratory Settings, Office, and Warehouse. Some PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc., is required.

Position Overview

As a Sales Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. in Shah Alam, you will lead a dedicated sales team to achieve excellent results. We seek an ambitious individual to manage and grow our laboratory supply business within Malaysia.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead and develop the business for Fisher Scientific in Malaysia, aligning with company strategies.
  2. Manage and develop sales teams, creating go-to-market strategies for end-user markets.
  3. Manage sub-channel partners and grow the channel business, marketing products through sub-channels.
  4. Oversee RSD MY or FSM initiatives, coordinating with stakeholders.
  5. Drive business growth through solutions and partnerships.
  6. Focus on Key Accounts, Vertical Markets, and Key Products.
  7. Manage sales team to meet revenue and profitability targets.
  8. Achieve personal revenue and profitability goals.

Other Responsibilities

  1. Develop strategic partnerships to expand the business.
  2. Collaborate on product strategies with Product Management and Marketing.
  3. Work with Marketing to implement regional strategies.
  4. Coordinate with other commercial teams to develop markets.
  5. Partner with Support teams (Warehouse, IT, Finance, HR) for effective practices.
  6. Participate in management to motivate and implement plans.
  7. Ensure departmental participation in company activities.
  8. Ensure compliance with all company and government guidelines, including FCPA, GTC, distribution, confidentiality, and MDA requirements.
