A leading company in training and development seeks a strategic Sales Manager to drive commercial growth across B2B, B2C, and B2G markets. The role involves leading a sales team, securing business opportunities, and developing strategic partnerships while ensuring compliance and alignment with market trends. Ideal candidates will possess strong business acumen and a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience, particularly within the training and human capital development sectors.
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Sales Manager to lead our commercial operations and business growth across B2B (corporate clients), B2C (individual learners), and B2G (government tenders and collaborations) markets. This role is pivotal in expanding our client base, enhancing revenue streams, and strengthening our market position within the training and development sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, proven leadership capabilities, and deep experience in sales, strategic partnerships, and public sector engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive revenue growth across B2B, B2C, and B2G segments.
Identify and secure new business opportunities, corporate partnerships, individual program enrollees, and government contracts or grants.
Build, manage, and guide a high-performing sales and business development team to achieve set KPIs.
Oversee the full commercial cycle—from lead generation, proposal development, pricing, and negotiation to contract closure.
Collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to align offerings with market demand and campaign effectiveness.
Respond to and manage government-related proposals, tender submissions, and public-sector engagement processes.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and government agencies.
Analyze commercial performance and prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market trend insights for management.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, pricing structures, and regulatory requirements.
Represent the company at external meetings, expos, industry events, and strategic forums.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a commercial or business development role within the training, education, or human capital development sector.
Strong understanding of government procurement processes, grant applications, and tender submissions.
Demonstrated ability to grow corporate accounts, build strategic partnerships, and scale individual learning program sales.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and motivating cross-functional teams.
Results-oriented, strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and proposal/tender documentation.
Able to travel as needed for client meetings, government engagements, or industry events.
Immediate availability is highly preferred.
