Kara Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Sales Manager to drive international sales growth, particularly in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Drive international sales growth, particularly in Hong Kong and Taiwan by identifying and developing new customers and business opportunities.
Manage the end-to-end trading process including procurement, sales, inventory planning, and international logistics coordination.
Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with overseas clients, distributors, and partners.
Understand and apply shipping Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF, DDP) to ensure smooth and compliant global transactions.
Negotiate and close international sales contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and profitability targets.
Stay updated on market trends, customer behaviors, competitor movements, and regulatory changes in the Hong Kong and Taiwan markets.
Coordinate the preparation of trade documentation, delivery orders, and import/export declarations, ensuring full compliance with Customs regulations.
Provide operational and logistics support for overseas shipments, including breakbulk services and cooperation with shipping agents.
Generate timely sales reports and performance analyses for management review.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of experience in international sales, trading, or supply chain management—preferably in FMCG industry.
In-depth knowledge of shipping Incoterms, international logistics, and cross-border trade regulations.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills with experience dealing with international clients and distributors.
Self-motivated, independent, and results-driven with a positive, adaptable mindset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using digital business tools.
Experience coordinating with traders, shipping agents, freight forwarders, and brokers is an added advantage.
Mandarin and/or Cantonese language proficiency is a plus but not mandatory.
Travelling is required.
