Job Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the companyâs customer base within the telecommunications sector, specifically focusing on engineering and technical consulting services.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team in Johor Bahru, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team meets and exceeds individual and team sales goals.
- Accurately forecast sales on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, analyzing market trends and customer needs to adjust sales strategies and tactics accordingly.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and partners, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Ace Sonic Communications' services.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends, particularly in the evolving telecommunications landscape.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions while maintaining profitability and adhering to company policies.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, providing insights into sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities, utilizing data to drive informed decision-making.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a sales management role within the telecommunications or engineering/technical consulting industry.
- Demonstrable expertise in sales forecasting, with a track record of accurately predicting sales trends and achieving targets.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively close deals and build strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to effectively engage with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a sales team, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management to drive team success.
- Strong business development acumen, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence in Malaysia.
