When you work in Hawaii, in addition to learning about the functional aspects of running a hotel — like the proper way to make a bed or how to best handle luggage — it’s critically important to understand Hawaiian culture and the spirit of ‘ohana, or ‘family.’ When opening the first Andaz property in Hawaii, our team participated in Hawaiian culture training to help us understand what ‘ohana truly means.
Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management. Minimum 3 years work experience as Sales Manager. Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation, good problem solving and administrative skills and high competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint systems. Fluency in spoken and written English required.
You will be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Sales Manager is the responsible sales specialist and will act to ensure the related revenue targets are met in the most effective and profitable way.
