A leading company in the water treatment sector is looking for a Sales Manager to lead their sales team. This role involves developing sales strategies, maintaining customer relations, and managing a team to achieve sales goals. The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing our sales team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, fostering strong customer relationships, and ensuring the team is motivated, trained, and performing at its best.
Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Manager, you will:
Sales Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and plans to achieve company sales goals and revenue targets.
Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenues and expenses, preparing detailed sales reports for management.
Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories.
Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
Set individual sales targets and performance metrics, monitoring team progress against these goals.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and development plans.
Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and post-sales support.
Coordinate with the marketing department on lead generation activities and the development of sales enablement materials.
Manage customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Utilize CRM software effectively to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and generate reports.
Reporting & Analysis
Analyze sales data and reports to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
Present sales, revenue, and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
Product Knowledge & Market Expertise
Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company's products/services, their value proposition, and market positioning.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging markets.
Have experience in water treatment industry is a plus.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 2 years in a sales management role.
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
Others:
Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and team training.
Valid driver's license.
