Job description

This position is for a Sales Management Trainee. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and candidates should have no more than 5 years of working experience.

We value candidates’ development potential. The sales team leader will provide guidance and coaching.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Explore potential customers and maintain good relationships with existing customers.
  2. Develop and establish sales strategies to expand market share.
  3. Plan sales visits to customers to address their needs.
  4. Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and attend to customer inquiries.
  5. Conduct engaging technical presentations to illustrate product features and benefits to existing and prospective customers.
  6. Prepare documents and presentation materials for tender projects.
  7. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on project progression, including performance bond preparation, delivery lead time, and installation dates.
  8. Follow up on payment status with clients.
  9. Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Possess at least a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architectural design, mechanical and electrical engineering, or related fields. This is a must-have requirement.
  2. Have a strong enthusiasm for sales, particularly in construction materials products, with B2B customers such as manufacturers, contractors, or distributors.
  3. Understanding of products, including aluminum alloy formwork, disctype scaffolding, and their specific applications.
  4. Strong sales acumen, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals.
  5. Excellent negotiation skills to handle pricing, contracts, and terms with clients.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with clients and presenting technical information.
  7. Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team or independently with minimal supervision.
  8. Willing to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and site visits.
  9. Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia as working languages.
