Sales Executive

Responsibilities:
  • Acquiring and updating knowledge of employers' and competitors' products and understanding market conditions
  • Sell logistic services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects
  • Make appointments and visit potential customers for new business
  • Providing prospective customers with general and specialized information, support and guidance to maintain relationship with customers
  • Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms, completing contracts and recording orders
  • Reporting to sales management on sales made and the marketability of products
  • Reporting customers' reactions and requirements to management
  • Conduct research and recommend new opportunities and service improvement
  • Identify product improvements or new products by researching current industry trends, market activities and competitors
  • Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, and conduct research & development
  • Responsible on payment collection from customers
  • Maintain and foster relationship with existing and new customers to ensure continuous success accounts
  • Prepare reports for daily sales activities, sales monthly performance and new clients list
  • Responsible to provide best service to clients
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned or required from time to time
Requirements:
  • They must be from freight forwarding background
  • Sales experience in logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing and haulage service industry
  • Possess knowledge of the industry market
  • Good grasp of the terminology and concepts of the industry
  • Able to bring in new customer for the company
  • Salary range open for discussion because sales position entitled for commission
