A luxury hotel in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Sales Executive to drive sales and manage client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Hospitality, at least 1 year of experience, and excellent communication skills. Reports To: Director of Sales
Job Summary: The Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales by implementing action plans, managing client relationships, and maximizing revenue opportunities. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying new business prospects and maintaining strong partnerships to support the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Implements all sales action plans related to his/her market areas as outlined in the marketing plan.
Executes account coverage to optimize business opportunities.
Establishes and maintains effective communication channel.
Demonstrate strong negotiation skill to maximize hotel profit in all revenue producing areas.
Attend major travel and trade function as assigned.
Conducts daily sales calls and arrange familiarization/site inspection trips to hotels by corporate clients.
Disseminates sales related information to other departments as appropriate.
Closely follows up with all business leads, assigned project or duties and advise immediate superior with job progress.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, or Hotel Management.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and skilled in using office equipment.
