Job Description

  1. Create sales and follow up on existing/prospect for business.
  2. Receive, make calls and follow-up on all in-bound and outbound enquiries for SGS testing, inspection, certification, training, and related consultancy prospects.
  3. Maintain and develop growth of Key Accounts.
  4. Ensure monthly proposal/quotation target is satisfactorily achieved or exceeded.
  5. Meet and achieve monthly sales target set by the Company.
  6. Anticipate, identify and understand client’s needs; pains and translate into sales opportunities.
  7. Ensure timeliness and accuracy in handling business enquiries.
  8. Maintain awareness and understanding of all SGS services, ensuring full range of SGS services are presented to clients to maximize sales opportunities.
  9. Forward potential opportunities to other Business Lines as appropriate.
  10. Prepare, arrange and coordinate related sample collection, customer visits, meetings, trainings, seminars, etc. as necessary.
  11. At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.
  12. Adhere to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by upholding good safety behavior and exercising necessary standards and processes when carrying out your responsibilities to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
  13. Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior Management.

Qualifications

  1. Degree or Diploma in related field from recognized university/college.
  2. Experience in the related field is an asset.
  3. Preferably 1 to 2 years of experience in the sales field, with a successful track record. Candidates with more than 5 years of experience can be considered for senior positions.
  4. Fluent in English/local language, with a high level of written and verbal English.
