Job summary

A leading company in the poultry industry is seeking a motivated sales professional to expand its customer base and achieve sales targets. Job description

Identify new sales opportunities and expand the customer base by targeting potential buyers including retailers, hoteliers, supermarkets, grocers, wholesalers, and food distributors.

Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.

Execute sales and marketing plans to achieve sales volume, outlet coverage, and collection targets to meet set goals and KPIs.

Prioritize selling high-value products such as QL Branded Eggs and expand the customer base within the designated route/area, primarily in the HORECA channel.

Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, orders, and concerns related to egg sales, handling complaints professionally and providing timely resolutions.

Collaborate closely with departments such as egg production, logistics, and QA/QC to ensure efficient customer service and resolve issues.

Maintain contact with customers to foster good working relationships, increasing sales and customer base.

Provide feedback to the sales manager regarding customer needs, market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies.

Manage accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of payments and minimize credit risk exposure.

Monitor and manage account receivables to reduce credit risk.

Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and submit regular sales reports to management.

Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales and marketing roles, preferably in FMCG industries.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and persuade others.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
