What we're looking for

  • Candidate must possess at least a SPM/Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in flooring, wall paneling, construction, or related industries.
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in designer and contractor sales, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (added advantage)
  • Must be self-motivated, proactive, willing to learn, result oriented and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Proficiency in negotiation skills is required.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

What you'll be doing

Sales Development and Client Engagement

  • Identify new business opportunities and reach out to potential clients, including interior designers, architects, contractors, and homeowners.
  • Schedule and conduct appointments and presentations with prospects to showcase product options and solutions, aiming to expand the customer base and drive sales.

Customer Service and Product Guidance

  • Greet and assist customers in-store, understanding their needs to guide them in finding the ideal flooring or wall panelling solutions.
  • Offer personalized advice and recommendations to help customers make informed choices, supporting them throughout the selection process.
  • Follow up with client’s post-consultation, ensuring any additional questions or needs are met to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Sales Strategies and Outreach

  • Conduct cold calls to reach potential clients, maintain ongoing communication, and build relationships that foster long-term sales growth.
  • Proactively follow up on leads, providing additional product details, pricing, and other relevant information to encourage conversions.
  • Address customer complaints with empathy and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience and a timely resolution to maintain customer trust.

Project Coordination and Installation Support

  • Collaborate closely with installation teams to ensure seamless coordination and scheduling for customer projects.
  • Conduct site visits to take measurements and confirm details, enabling accurate product selection and customized solutions for each client.
  • Oversee site coordination with installers, ensuring product installation aligns with customer expectations and timelines.

Operational Excellence and Target Achievement

  • Manage timely delivery of products and services, coordinating logistics to guarantee that project schedules are met.
  • Consistently work to achieve personal and team sales targets, contributing to the company’s overall growth and success.
  • Keep track of sales records, customer interactions, and progress towards goals, providing regular reports to management.
