The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
Responsibilities
Meet and exceed sales targets
Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts
Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives
Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers
Track leads to progress with contractors, stores, and open market customers
Process, dispatch, and order invoices
Feed customer and market application, new product information to agents
Find links or key selling opportunities utilizing both old and new contacts
Identify new products and market opportunities
Assist in the creation, coordination, and production of marketing collateral, exhibitions, and trade fairs
Assist in preparing comparisons with contenders
Qualifications
Minimum Diploma in Sales & Marketing or in any discipline
2-5 years quota-carrying sales experience
Good communication with all levels and ability to forecast sales budget and schedule
Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English
