Lead Generation: Proactively identify and develop new client opportunities through networking, outreach, and attending relevant industry events.

Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.

Sales Proposals & Negotiations: Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and close deals effectively.

Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets through strategic upselling and cross-selling initiatives.

Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify business opportunities.

Promotional Activities: Support marketing campaigns aimed at boosting sales for events, room bookings, and other services.

Event Planning & Coordination

Client Consultation: Conduct meetings to understand client needs, event goals, and specific requirements.

Proposal & Budget Preparation: Develop comprehensive event proposals, floor plans, and budgets tailored to client expectations.

Internal Coordination: Collaborate with relevant departments (e.g., F&B, operations, housekeeping) to ensure seamless event execution.

Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors to meet event requirements and maintain quality standards.

On-Site Event Support: Oversee event execution and provide hands-on support to ensure client satisfaction.

Feedback Collection: Gather post-event feedback for service evaluation and continuous improvement.

Reservations Support

Booking Management: Handle individual and group bookings, changes, and cancellations across multiple platforms.

Group Reservations: Manage room blocks for weddings, corporate events, and long-stay groups.

Revenue Optimization: Recommend room upgrades and add-on packages to increase revenue.

Guest Liaison: Ensure prompt and professional communication with guests, including confirmations and special requests.

Data Accuracy & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of reservations and generate occupancy and performance reports.

Guest Experience: Ensure a smooth and personalized guest journey from booking to check-out.

Administrative & Reporting Duties

Contract Management: Draft, review, and maintain contracts for events and room bookings.

Billing & Invoicing: Prepare accurate invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.

Performance Reporting: Deliver timely reports on sales, events, and booking performance with actionable insights.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sales, events coordination, or reservations—preferably in the hospitality or events industry.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and reservation systems

Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with keen attention to detail.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across departments.

Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages (especially Mandarin) is an added advantage.

Flexibility to work on weekends, public holidays, or extended hours when required for events.

Schedule: Full-time role, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and event-related needs.
