Sales Engineer (Penang)

Job Responsibilities

1. Product range: Pneumatic or Electrical power tools, abrasives, tapes & adhesives, Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs);
2. Identify, establish & cultivate strong business relationships with customers;
3. Manage and expand product range and usage in the assigned territory for sales growth;
4. Provide technical support and product demonstration, training, and presentation to help customers discover and understand products/services;
5. Evaluate client application requirements and provide solutions;
6. Responsible for new accounts & new product development as well as maintaining existing customers;
7. Conduct regular visits/meetings with customers and attend verbal & written inquiries;
8. Achieve sales targets as set by management;
9. Able to analyze market demand and competition.

Minimum Requirements

1. Preferably with a Diploma or Degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or related technical field;
2. More than 2 years experience in sales/business development, preferably in the Automotive / Aerospace industries;
3. Strong communication, interpersonal, and sales skills;
4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
5. Highly self-motivated & able to work independently, self-organized & result-oriented.
