We're Hiring: Sales Engineer (Mandarin Speaker)!

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Engineer who is fluent in Mandarin to join our team in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and exceptional communication skills, enabling them to effectively engage with clients and deliver tailored solutions that meet their needs.

About The Company

A Malaysia-based company specializing in industrial automation and power systems, primarily catering to the oil and gas as well as food manufacturing sectors. Their services include the design, manufacturing, assembly, integration, installation, testing, and commissioning of process control systems, power distribution systems, and Ex solar PV systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and consultative support to clients in selecting and applying process control systems.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, service, and project teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend tailored solutions that meet both technical requirements and business goals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to support and refine sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related field) is preferred.
  • Prior experience in technical sales or support in industrial automation or process control systems is an advantages; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Good understanding of systems such as SCADA, DCS, PLC, HMI, IT/OT integration, cybersecurity, and related hardware/software.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willing to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events as needed.
