About the role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Engineer (General Industry) to join our dynamic team at KROHNE (M) Sdn Bhd. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our business by providing technical expertise and consultative sales support to our clients. This full-time role is based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, and offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

Ownership to drive and achieve sustainable sales and exceed sales targets in Malaysia through implementation of the local sales action

Must be able to handle the end-to-end sales process with clients, throughout the project development stage, proposal stage, the final selection process, the closing, and delivery of the order along with after sales management.

Visit customer to drive sales pitch and product presentations

Responsible for achieving sales revenue and profit target

Align and link business strategies set by company

Build strong relationship with existing and new customer.

To develop customer network and execute account management for selected customers, industries, and/or territories.

Review terms and conditions in contract during quotation and order stage.

Provide sales and after-sales support, in coordination with our internal departments and customers

Carry out site meetings whenever necessary.

Be able to provide technical and commercial direction for proposals, price quotations and presentation of bids, proposals to Clients, Channel Partner Prospects, Consultants, EPC’s and General Contractors.

To provide monthly reports on sales performance achievement.

Build, maintain and enhance relationships with all customer’s key influencers and decision makers within existing and new potential customers to consistently strive to develop new business opportunities and achieve revenue targets.

To assist at all times the company achieve its dedicated aim of “Best Practice”

Support other assigned activities when needed.

Support and assist all customer’s necessary technical, hands-on request, light product troubleshooting request.

To ensure all work and tasks are carried out in accordance with the Companies ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 QHSE Procedures.

What we're looking for

Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

Minimum five (5) years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector.

Strong technical capabilities and an understanding of Process Instrumentation.

Proven experience in Process Instrumentation and Control.

Excellent contract negotiation skills and be fully versed in contract terms and conditions.

Excellent inter-personal skills, a team player and pro-active promoter.

Customer know-how, sales experience and knowledge of field sale & knowledge of operational procedures.

To be able to work independently.

Excellent in flow and level measurements will be an advantage.
