About the Company

A leading petrochemical distributor and solutions provider is seeking a Sales Director to drive regional growth and expand market presence. With a strong footprint across Malaysia and Southeast Asia, the company is renowned for supplying high-quality petrochemical and industrial chemicals.

About the Role

The Sales Director, Petrochemicals will define and execute the company's overall sales strategy, setting ambitious revenue targets and driving growth across Malaysia and the region. This role involves providing strategic leadership to the sales team, mentoring and guiding senior sales personnel, and fostering a high-performance culture. The Head of Sales will build and maintain key client relationships, negotiate major contracts, align commercial strategy with market trends, and represent the company at industry forums to strengthen its market presence and achieve long-term business objectives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have 10-15 years of experience in the petrochemical, fertilizer, or industrial chemicals sector, with a proven track record of driving sales growth, acquiring key clients, and expanding market share. Significant experience in leading and developing high-performing sales teams, managing distributor or reseller networks, and maintaining a robust industry network is highly desirable. Strong strategic, commercial, and negotiation skills are essential to succeed in this senior leadership role.
