Job Description
- Drive new business growth by generating leads, building networks, and converting opportunities into revenue.
- Develop and execute strategies for new markets, products, and customer segments while monitoring industry trends.
- Identify and engage key decision-makers, delivering tailored proposals, leading pricing discussions, and managing contract negotiations.
- Strengthen relationships with key accounts, including quarterly business reviews and long-term partnership development.
- Lead by example in achieving sustainable growth targets, demonstrating personal performance and business development expertise.
- Coach and develop team members, providing clear understanding of the company's business model and systems.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Sales Director should have:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Minimum 12 years' leadership experience in logistics and supply chain, with a strong background in new business development and sales
- Proven track record in conceptualising and executing growth strategies, including blue ocean opportunities that deliver sustainable results.
- Strong commercial acumen with past P&L management responsibility and understanding of financial drivers.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence stakeholders at all levels and across cultures.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on delivering group-wide outcomes.
