Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking Sales Consultants/Engineers for Security & Surveillance and Radio Communication divisions. You will sell integrated CCTV, access, intrusion, and vehicle management systems, as well as digital microwave and trunked radio solutions. Travel to client sites and participate in tenders is expected.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong presentation skills, and multi-language communication (English, Mandarin, Malay). Training and career growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Professional Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer/Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Willing to travel and possess own transport.
• Able to communicate with all levels; English, Mandarin, and Malay proficiency preferred.
• Independent and proactive with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Sell and market Security & Surveillance products (CCTV, Access, IDS, Time & Vehicle Management, Guard Tour).
• Sell and market Radio Communication products (digital microwave, trunked radio, telecom systems).
• Participate in tender submissions and technical problem solving.
• Develop and present proposals for customer requirements; deliver technical presentations.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and product developments; identify new markets and opportunities.
• Document account activities, generate reports and manage records of transactions.

Sales Consultant / Sales Engineer - Security and Surveillance Department (1 Position) & Radio Communication Department (2 Positions)

• Security & Surveillance Department : Responsible for sales and marketing of Security and Surveillance products such as CCTV Surveillance Systems, Access Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, Time Management Systems, Vehicle Management Systems and Guard Tour Systems.
• Radio Communication Department : Responsible for sales and marketing of radio communication products including digital microwave radio, Trunked radio system and oil and gas telecommunication system.
• Participate in tender submission and involve in technical problem solving related to product / processes.
• Develop, present and responds to proposals for specific customer requirements.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products and services to customers and prospective customers.
• Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies and the latest product-line developments.
• Research and identify potential new markets and customers.
• Document account activities, generate reports, and keep records of business transactions with customers and suppliers.
• Follow up on customers payment.

Essential Qualifications

• Professional Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer/Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent. Those without tertiary education but with relevant working experiences will be considered.
• Energetic and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Good initiative with strong interpersonal & presentation skills.
• Able to communicate with all levels of people.
• Must be willing to travel and possess own transport.
• Able to communicate effectively in English , Mandarin and Malay. (Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.)
