The opportunity

In this role, you’ll be responsible for helping landed homeowners in Singapore get solar through our Rent-to-Own model. From initial inquiries to finalizing their rooftop solar plans, your aim is to convert homeowners to solar believers. You’ll also work closely with our CEO and be a core part of our mission to accelerate solar adoption in the region.

We're seeking candidates for two levels:

  • Associate: 1-2 years of sales experience
  • Senior Associate/Manager: 2-5 years of sales and managerial experience

Work will involve some travel within Singapore for site visits. No experience on rooftop solar PV systems required.

Your Role

  • Manage inbound sales leads from our online solar calculator (https://calculator.getsolar.ai) and qualify potential customers.
  • Guide homeowners through the Rent-to-Own solar process, answering questions and providing expert advice.
  • Conduct advisory calls, walk customers through solar proposals, and pitch our Rent-to-Own solar systems in a clear and compelling way.
  • Visit customers' homes to plan and design solar panel systems that meet their needs and preferences.
  • Organize and manage your sales pipeline, following up with potential customers to close deals and meet monthly sales targets.
  • Communicate with customers across various channels, including email, calls, WhatsApp, and our internal CRM system.

Your Credentials

  • Highly motivated, independent, and results-driven with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Friendly, customer-centric, and comfortable engaging with a variety of people.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and handle sales operations and pipeline management efficiently.
  • Flexible with working hours and willing to travel for site surveys at customers’ homes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills in solar and renewable energy.
  • A genuine interest in clean energy and enthusiasm for spreading the word about solar.

Contract Type and Location

This is a full-time role based in Singapore with attractive commissions on top of a base salary. Candidates who are not in Singapore need not apply.
