Job summary

A retail optical company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a retail sales associate to perform sales duties, manage shop operations, and provide outstanding customer service. Candidates must possess at least an SPM certificate and be proficient in English, Malay, and Mandarin. Experience in retail and strong interpersonal skills are preferred. Working hours are 9 hours including breaks, with a salary starting at RM2,500 during probation and comprehensive benefits including annual leave and incentives.

Job Description

• Perform retail sales at OWNDAYS' Shops
• Be responsible for daily shop operations
• Provide excellent customer service to all customers
• Dispense and fit spectacles and edge lenses using the prescriptions
• Handle daily shop cleanliness, shop operations, retail sales, inventory controls
• OWNDAYS will provide all training. In short period of time, you will be confident in the new skill.

Qualification

• Malaysian Only
• Candidates must at least possess SPM certificate
• Must be willing to work on weekend and public holiday
• Proficiency in English, Malay and Mandarin is a must (as the role requires candidate to liaise with our mandarin speaking customers)
• Experience in retail industry is preferred
• Candidates with good interpersonal communication skill preferred
• Responsible, hard-working and punctual
• Ability to work well under pressure

Working hours: 9 hours including 1 hour break

Shift work detail (Will be scheduled by Shop Manager)

• A: 10am - 7pm
• B1: 11am - 8pm
• B: 12pm - 9pm
• C: 1pm - 10pm

OT *1.5 ( Able to work Over time if needed )
