Job summary

Samsonite International S.A. is seeking a Store Team Leader in Kuala Lumpur to take ownership of store and personal productivity, lead by example, and drive customer service excellence. You will set goals, hold the team accountable, resolve issues, and ensure daily tasks are completed without compromising service.

Experience in retail or service industry (1 year+) is preferred. You'll collaborate with the Store Manager, coach teammates, and develop plans to address business issues to achieve

Job Description

• Take ownership, accountability for store and personal productivity
• Contributes to setting goals and holds team accountable for productivity standards
• Provides leadership through role modeling Service behaviors and approach standards
• Ensures customer issues are resolved in the store, and partners with Store Manager as appropriate
• Consistently ensures all daily tasks are completed without negatively impacting service
• Resolve conflicts with team members in a timely and productive manner
• Inspires team to meet and exceed performance standards
• Utilizes all training initiatives to assist in developing the team and provide Coaching to other team members
• Develop plans to address key business issues, utilizes plans to impact business and achieve desired results
• 1 years’ experience in retail or service industry
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff, maneuver sales floor
• Ability to meet moderate stockroom lifting requirements, and store climbing requirements
• Experience working in a fast paced retail environment.
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Comfortable with flexible work schedule to meet the needs of the business, including nights, weekends and holidays
