About the role

Reporting directly to the CEO, this full-time Sales and Marketing Manager position is responsible for leading and executing the sales and marketing strategies of AJIYA SAFETY GLASS SDN BHD, a leading provider of high-quality glass products in Malaysia. The role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's commercial success and growth.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing plans to drive revenue growth and market share expansion
• Manage and lead a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, training and performance management to ensure targets are met
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking and effective relationship building
• Oversee the development and execution of targeted marketing campaigns across various channels to effectively promote the company's products and services
• Analyse market trends, monitor competitor activity and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience and operational excellence
• Develop and track key performance indicators to measure the success of sales and marketing initiatives
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports and presentations for senior management

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a sales management or senior sales role, preferably within the glass or construction materials industry
• Demonstrated success in leading and motivating high-performing sales teams to achieve ambitious targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify and capitalise on market opportunities
• Proficient in developing and implementing effective marketing campaigns across various channels
• Thorough understanding of sales and marketing best practices, customer relationship management and data-driven decision making
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
