The Role is to provide efficient and focused sales and marketing strategies to achieve the Company’s strategy, growth, and profit objectives, as well as excellent customer service to ensure an efficient and profitable business by increasing customer satisfaction, loyalty, retention, and exceeding customer expectations. You are also involved in managing the company's social media and e-commerce channels.
You will play an important role in:
- Engaging in all forms of consumer and wholesale customer service.
- Assisting customers with email or phone sales inquiries for both wholesale and retail orders.
- Monitoring, updating, and conducting live chats across company eCommerce and social media channels.
- Driving growth of existing accounts as well as establishing relationships and securing contracts with new customers to achieve the assigned Sales targets.
- Developing maximum sales potential out of assigned territories through prospecting, constant follow-up, strong sales techniques, and knowledge of the Company's products and services as well as the competitors’ strengths and weaknesses.
- Prospecting potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face-to-face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking.
- Dealing with customer complaints and/or returns for both wholesale and retail customers.
- Assisting with occasional direct-to-consumer warehouse sales.
- Handling trade and consumer showroom appointments.
- Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring eCommerce sites are up to date and accurate, as well as facilitating stock takes with our warehouse team.
- Updating reporting templates regularly.
- Conducting all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring digital marketing campaigns including research, advertising, and public relations.
- Managing social media and web content.
- Providing administrative support to the Owner and across different functions.
- Following all operating procedures in a methodical and structured manner whilst providing exceptional attention to detail.
- Completing additional office duties as directed.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Previous experience gained in a similar role, ideally in E-commerce.
- Experience with e-commerce and social media sites such as Facebook, Shopee, and Lazada would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both verbal and written.
- Ability to respond promptly to customer inquiries and communicate clearly and effectively.
- A good eye for detail and strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good skills with the MS Office suite.
- Strong work ethics, discretion, and respect for maintaining confidentiality of sensitive material.
- Ability to manage administration including inquiries, sales, and records.
- Highly developed organization and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Organized, thorough, accurate, with an eye for detail.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Sales-driven, results-oriented, and a team player.
