Job summary

GAG Auto in Malaysia is seeking an automotive sales professional to greet walk-in and online customers, present Proton models, discuss pricing and financing, and coordinate bookings.

You will conduct test drives, prepare documentation, build relationships, and liaise with finance and aftersales to close sales while staying informed on promotions.

• Build and maintain relationships with customers through follow-up and prospecting.
• Coordinate vehicle delivery to customers within the agreed timeline.
• Liaise with finance, aftersales, and operations to ensure smooth sales transactions.
• Stay informed on Proton promotions and market trends.
• Comply with company policies and Proton brand guidelines.

• Greet and assist walk-in and online customers with product information, pricing, and financing packages for Proton models.
• Conduct test drives with prospective customers in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Prepare sales documentation, including booking forms, hire purchase/loan applications, and vehicle insurance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers through active prospecting and consistent follow-up.
• Coordinate vehicle delivery to customers efficiently and within the agreed timeline.
• Liaise with the finance, aftersales, and operations departments to ensure smooth handling of sales transactions.
• Stay informed on the latest Proton product lineup, promotions, and automotive market trends.
• Comply with Company policies and procedures, including customer service standards and Proton brand guidelines.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in automotive sales, preferably with a Proton or national car dealership, is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Target-driven with the ability to work under pressure.
• Possess a valid driving license (Class D/B2).
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
