Job summary

Signature Market in Subang Jaya seeks a customer‑focused retail team member to enhance the shopping experience and build lasting relationships with customers. You will drive sales while maintaining inventory accuracy and visual merchandising standards across the store.

You will greet customers warmly, ask questions to learn their needs, and provide product knowledge for a superior shopping journey. Training is provided; candidates must be 18+, Malaysian citizens, and able to work 5 days a week

Qualifications

• Possesses customer service and communication skills.
• Good at maintaining inventory, store organization and independent work.
• Able to communicate in English, Malay, and Mandarin; able to engage Mandarin-speaking customers.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a customer‑centric retail culture to enhance the buying experience.
• Achieve sales goals and positively impact profitability through customer service, sales, inventory and risk management.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are followed, including floor sets, cleanliness, signage and promotions.
• Create compelling merchandise presentations and displays to maximize sales and customer focus.
• Welcome each customer warmly and spend quality time to learn their needs, preferences and lifestyles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Create and maintain a retail culture focused on the customer, enhance the buying experience build relationships that lead to long-term business growth; and demonstrate detailed knowledge of all products and services.

Responsible for achieving sales goals.

Positively affect profitability in the areas of customer service, sales, inventory/ expense control risk management.

Responsible for effective implementation of all visual merchandising standards operational direction.

Ensure that standards are being followed including floor sets, cleanliness, marketing, signage sales promotion.

Create merchandise presentations as well as displays that have an impact, are customers focused maximize sales.

Ensure each customer is welcomed into the store in a warm genuinely sincere manner.

Ensure the appropriate quality time is spent with the customer, asking questions to learn about his/her needs, preferences lifestyles.

Other duties may arise from time to time and may be assigned to the employee.

Requirements

Possesses customer service and communication skills.

Good in maintaining Inventory, Store, Organized, and Independent person.

Able to communicate in English, Malay, and Mandarin; to communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers.

Smoking or Vaping is prohibited to uphold our brand and promote a healthy lifestyle.

Pleasant appearance, with no tattoos or no visible tattoos.

5 working days per week; 9 hours (2 rest days on weekdays).

Training will be provided.

Must be age 18 and above and Malaysian citizen.

Salary range : Basic Salary + Commissions + Allowances + OT + EPF + SOCSO
