Work with Sales, Marketing and Admin to source all customers through various marketing programs, this being via international trade shows, prospecting of the largest retailers around the globe, website including leveraging all sourcing websites and other advertising efforts.
Maximise the sales and returns by understanding the market place and the required pricing, product and trading terms.
Learn all about potential customers to be able design a solution for them fulfilling their customers’ demands.
Manage the complete process to ensure that we deliver the customer to the required specifications. These must be clearly communicated through the company to Manufacturing.
Must understand all the features and benefits of our products and how they compare to our competitors across the world.
Minimise and seek approval from top management before offering any credit terms.
Working closely with Manufacturing to ensure that demand and capacity are close to equal.
Assist customers with the creation of artwork, creation of printing plates and the speed of such packaging through to production.
Work with Manufacturing to ensure we comply with all Customer required quality qualification’s such as ISO, BRC, and individual Customer Audits.
Maintain and track all sales efforts involved in the company.
Work with all divisions of the company to ensure we achieve all sales and profitability budgets.
Working with Sales/Marketing and Logistics to ensure that all customer communication is delivered in a co-ordinated and timely basis.
Constant monitoring of Sales trends and numbers to be able to make recommendations to both the company and customers.
Support ISO standards, audits and customer/factory assessments.
Implement company's policies and goals and ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.
Requirements:
Whilst a degree is highly desirable, we recognise that sales and administrational skills cannot be fully taught through an educational course alone. Must have the core understanding of selling skills with the ability to develop into multi million-dollar negotiations
Must love interacting with people and the ability to talk to strangers
Must understand that whilst the customer isn’t always right, they are always your customer
Must be determined, resilient at the same time have a caring and sharing personality
Demonstrate capabilities in teamwork and interpersonal skills
Proficient in MS Office
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, additional communication skills in Mandarin and dialects most advantageous
Must be able to travel as required to see customers and attend trade shows
