Operating in Malaysia, this branch of a global trading firm specializes in the import, export, and domestic wholesale of a broad spectrum of commodities. Their activities encompass the trade of steel and related materials, non-ferrous metals, food products like seafood, and potentially other goods such as petroleum, chemicals, lumber, and machinery. Functioning as a key distributor, the company provides essential logistical support and market knowledge to efficiently connect suppliers and buyers across various industries within Malaysia and on an international scale.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Liaise with salesperson and handle the full set of order processes.
  2. Liaise with transporters to ensure timely deliveries.
  3. Maintain and update sales and purchase records.
  4. Communicate sales status internally with the salesperson.
  5. Prepare monthly sales reports and ad hoc reports as required.
  6. Negotiate commission amounts with the counterparty and issue Debit Notes.
  7. Prepare shipping documents related to the import and export of goods.
  8. Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess at least a Degree in any field.
  • Required languages: Chinese, English.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Required skills: Microsoft Office, knowledge of import/export shipping documents.
  • Experience with Letter of Credit (LC) and Bill of Lading (BL) is an advantage.
  • Preferably a Junior Executive with experience in Clerical/Administrative Support or Logistics/Supply Chain.
