Job summary

Solarvest Holdings Berhad is seeking a Safety Supervisor (Operations - Maintenance) to implement and monitor SHE policies on site, conduct daily inspections and training, and ensure safe work practices across Malaysian solar projects.

You will liaise with the Safety Officer, engineers and subcontractors, review safety documents, maintain records, participate in emergency response, and promote a strong safety culture with a proactive, independent mindset.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Yellow Book (Site Safety Supervisor) certificate registered with DOSH (Malaysia).
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in construction or renewable energy projects (solar project experience is an added advantage).
• Good knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the site's SHE policies in compliance with statutory requirements and company standards.
• Conduct daily site inspections and training to ensure safe work practices.
• Identify and mitigate potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts at the workplace.
• Liaise with the Safety Officer, O&M Manager, Engineers, Technicians, and subcontractors on safety-related issues.
• Review and ensure safety compliance of work documents (MOS, HIRARC, O&M Manual, HSE Plan, etc.) before work execution.
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation including reports, checklists, and records of incidents or near misses.
• Participate in emergency response and assist in incident and near-miss investigation and reporting.
• Ensure workers and visitors comply with site safety rules and use proper PPE.
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement at the project site.
