Job summary

Solarvest Holdings Berhad, through Solarvest Energy, seeks a Site Safety Supervisor for Central and Southern Malaysia. The role focuses on implementing SH&E policies, training, and daily inspections to uphold safety standards across solar projects.

The candidate should hold a DOSH-registered Yellow Book and have at least 1 year of relevant experience in construction or renewable energy, with strong communication and leadership abilities for proactive site management.

Qualifications

• Possess valid Yellow Book Site Safety Supervisor certificate with DOSH.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant construction or renewable energy experience.
• Solid knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations and standards.
• Strong communication, leadership, and observation skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor SHE policies per statutory requirements and company standards.
• Conduct daily site inspections and safety training to ensure safe work practices.
• Identify hazards and mitigate unsafe acts at the workplace.
• Liaise with Safety Officer, Site Manager, and subcontractors on safety issues.
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation including reports, checklists, and incident records.
• Ensure workers and visitors comply with site safety rules and PPE use.
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement at the project site.

Site Safety Supervisor - Southern - Central

Responsibility

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the site's Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) policies in compliance with statutory requirements and company standards
• Conduct daily site inspections and training to ensure safe work practices
• Identify and mitigate potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts at the workplace
• Liaise with the Safety Officer, Site Manager, and subcontractors on safety-related issues
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation including reports, checklists, and records of incidents or near misses
• Ensure workers and visitors comply with site safety rules and use proper PPE
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement at the project site

Location: Central and Southern

Requirements

• Possess a valid Yellow Book (Site Safety Supervisor) certificate registered with DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia)
• Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in construction or renewable energy projects (solar project experience is an added advantage)
• Good knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations and standards
• Strong communication, leadership, and observation skills
• Able to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced project environment
