Job summary

A leading safety management firm in Sepang is seeking Safety Site Staff to conduct safety walks and ensure compliance with EHS regulations. The position requires prior experience in site safety management and the ability to work independently. Successful candidates should have strong communication skills and be available to start immediately. Salary ranges from RM 2,500 to RM 2,750 per month.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in EHS / site safety management preferred.
  • Familiarity with Lam systems (ETS / Intelex) is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and with various teams on-site.

Job description
Overview

We are actively seeking Safety Site Staff to join our team at the Sepang site immediately. If you are passionate about workplace safety and eager to be part of a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!

Employment Type:
1 year Contract
Immediate Start Required

Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily safety walks / hazard identification walks, and record findings (RMBWAs) in Lam’s system (ETS, transitioning to Intelex).
  • Identify and report incidents and near misses within 24 hours using Lam's reporting system. Assist in incident investigations.
  • Collaborate with Lam EHS to manage and support the Safety Committee.
  • Actively participate in 6S activities and emergency preparedness & response drills.
  • Attend and contribute to weekly SIPP meetings/reviews. Understand SIPP program requirements and CBRE’s involvement.
  • Participate in all required safety training programs.
  • Lead EHS new hire inductions for contractors and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with key EHS programs as per Lam standards (e.g., Working at Heights, LOTO, MHE, Waste Management, Ergonomics, etc.).
  • Oversee proper management and disposal of waste and recyclables, using Lam-approved vendors.
  • Participate in internal audits, inspections, HIRAC, and risk assessments.
  • Maintain necessary government permits and licenses related to EHS.
  • Supervise inspections of FLSS systems and fire extinguishers.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in EHS / site safety management preferred.
  • Familiarity with Lam systems (ETS / Intelex) is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of local EHS regulations and compliance.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with various teams on-site.
  • Immediate availability to start work at Sepang location.
