Qualifications

About the role

Firstwork Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a Safety Site Supervisor to join our team on a contract basis. This is an essential role that will be responsible for overseeing all health, safety and environmental (HSE) aspects of our construction projects in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. As the Safety Site Supervisor, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and well-being of our workforce and site visitors.

What you'll be doing

Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any potential health, safety and environmental hazards

Implement and monitor the company's HSE policies and procedures to maintain compliance with all relevant regulations

Provide on-site training and guidance to workers on safe work practices and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Investigate and document any incidents or accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence

Liaise with project managers, subcontractors and authorities to coordinate HSE activities

Maintain detailed records and prepare reports on the site's HSE performance

What we're looking for

Strong knowledge of construction health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with workers at all levels

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Proficient in using relevant HSE software and data management tools

Relevant safety-related certifications or qualifications (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH) would be an advantage
