Safety Officer

EITA Elevator (M) Sdn Bhd is hiring a Casual/Temporary Safety Officer role in Johor Jaya, Johor. Apply now to be part of our team.

Job Summary:

• Flexible hours available
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience required
• Expected salary: RM6,000 - RM8,000 per month

Responsibilities:

1. Advise the company on safety measures to protect employees in the workplace.
2. Review and ensure the implementation of safety plans, policies, and procedures.
3. Conduct Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) for each production activity.
4. Inspect the workplace for safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.
5. Serve as Secretary for the Safety & Health Committee and fulfill regulatory functions.
6. Investigate and report on accidents, hazards, and occupational health issues.
7. Coordinate with regulatory agencies (e.g., DOSH, BOMBA) to ensure compliance.
8. Organize emergency response drills and promote safety awareness through training and meetings.
9. Guide and monitor Site Safety Supervisor’s work.
10. Produce safety reports as required by management.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Must be well-organized, independent, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
• Must be a green book holder and certified by DOSH.
• High degree of maturity, results-driven, proactive, with an eye for construction (elevator) quality detail.
• Location in Johor Bahru.
